Do a straightforward butterfly, thurn it into a ttn then release at the correct point letting the head of the poi become the pivotal point. You want to be releasing somewhere around the point where the poi is at 10 o'clock. Theres a small flick as well that can sometimes to wonders for the spin of the handle round the head of the poi.
